In matters of policing, I cannot help but remember the time when a team of a dozen police officers, led my a man with a shotgun creeping along a row of cars, promptly took me down, listened to a flurry of testimony and database updates, asked me a few questions, then... simply let me go. I remember the department's recent horror; nonetheless, I like Dallas police.
