Not to agree or disagree with any position, but to start discussion: among all these examples, I note only one person dissatisfied with customary gender roles (the woman who objected to a man's opening a door for her); everyone else seems to be rather happy and satisfied in acting according to them. So I have to wonder -- do people who notice gender automatically find it unsatisfactory? Do those who are happy with gender not notice it? Or do most people find a happy balance?
